About Me
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been deeply fascinated by life itself — and by what it means to be human.
“How do you live a meaningful life?” “What does it mean to be fully yourself?”
These questions sparked an inner expedition. I became my own test case, exploring life through connection with others — because for me, joy, wisdom, and discovery are found in meaningful encounters and deep connection.
For several years, I wandered the world. I spent long stretches alone, immersed in nature. This solitude taught me to listen — to the language of the earth and the elements.
At the same time, I sought out people. I placed myself in intentional environments, experiencing a wide range of workshops and lifestyles in ashrams. In the Osho Ashram in Pune, I dove into bio-energetics and body-oriented practices — a time of deep inner cleansing and transformation.
I sat multiple Vipassana meditation retreats, where I discovered that emotional states I had once attributed to others or external events would arise even in silence and stillness — showing me they lived within me.
After years of traveling through countries, communities, and shared living experiments, I found my way back to The Netherlands — where I crossed paths with a center for personal growth and development.
There, I learned how to truly feel. I learned to stand firm in big emotions, to experience what (group) therapy, coaching, and loving guidance can offer — how to give this to others, and how essential it is to hold space for someone (or a group) in moments of healing and transformation.
My path weaves through various cultures, therapies, traditions, perspectives, modalities, and healing approaches — all equally rich and meaningful.
I see this diversity reflected in Psychodynamics: the integration of various therapeutic approaches within a session, allowing for the flexibility to use whatever is most helpful in the moment.
The Academy for Psychodynamics provided me with a wide range of tools and techniques to guide others through diverse challenges and transitions on their life path.
My Work with Psychedelics
Psychedelics and I have a long-standing, ever-deepening relationship.
It began in my early adulthood through recreational use at festivals — which, in hindsight, turned out to be profoundly therapeutic.
Later, I became one of the early pioneers in the field of guided psychedelic journeys for personal and spiritual growth — long before it became a recognized profession.
Over time, I developed my own unique style — a powerful synergy of psychodynamic therapy and the transformative potential of psychedelics.
I helped shape and completed the Psychedelic Practitioner Training (PPT) at the internationally respected Synthesis Institute.
In the past seven years, I’ve had the honour of guiding countless 1-on-1 psychedelic journeys and serving as a lead facilitator during retreats. Each journey has deepened my understanding and respect for this profound work.
My Vision
I see personal development as an ongoing journey of self-discovery, emotional healing, and personal growth. True transformation often requires us to face unresolved experiences, difficult emotions, or limiting beliefs — not to suffer, but to gain clarity, insight, and inner freedom.
There are moments in life that feel overwhelming or uncertain. Times when old patterns no longer serve you, yet the path forward isn’t clear. This is where trauma-informed support and skilled guidance can make all the difference.
As a trauma-informed therapist with extensive experience in psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration, I provide a grounded, compassionate, and professional space where you can safely explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Together, we work through what arises - so you can process, integrate, and move forward with more calm, confidence, and clarity.
You don’t have to walk this path alone. With the right support, inner work becomes not only manageable - but deeply meaningful, empowering, and even joyful at times.
Because when you feel truly supported…
Life becomes a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved.
