My Approach

All the information you need, to understand the roots of your imbalance - and all the wisdom required for your healing — already lives within you.
You just might not be able to see it yet, or know how to translate or understand it.


Through conversation, deep inquiry, and a variety of embodied therapeutic exercises and techniques, we create space to connect with what truly matters to you.


We work on two levels: your personality and your quality of being.


Working on your personality - especially the parts that carry neediness, pain, fear, loneliness, or a sense of unfulfillment — helps you build greater emotional independence. You develop the capacity to form nourishing relationships and to respond to life’s challenges with clarity and resilience.


Working on your quality of being - your state of presence, or core self - supports and regulates your nervous system. This helps you stay grounded in the face of big emotions and difficult situations. It strengthens your ability to remain centered amidst life’s inevitable ups and downs.


As your awareness deepens, and as you gain insight and the ability to stay present with what’s happening inside you, you begin to experience more inner peace and trust.


You get to know yourself on multiple levels - emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. You begin to sense what feels right and what doesn’t. You learn to set boundaries naturally and kindly. The more you come to know yourself, the more grounded and empowered you feel — not through force, but in a calm, natural way.


You start to feel more freedom. Symptoms begin to soften or disappear. Where you once felt stuck or trapped, new choices begin to emerge. There’s more space, more depth - for you, and within you.

INTAKE

In our first session, we’ll explore what truly matters to you — what lies at the heart of what you’re seeking. Based on this, I’ll create a personalized treatment plan, tailored to your goals and the pace that fits you best, fine tuning it every step of the way.
 

EMDR & TRAUMA THERAPY

When you've experienced (psycho)trauma, part of you can become frozen in that past experience. You may find yourself repeatedly reacting to situations as if the trauma is still happening — even when you know, rationally, that you're safe now. These old, unprocessed experiences linger in the nervous system and show up in your current life as emotional or physical symptoms.

EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful and research-based method that helps your system release and reprocess trauma — often without needing to talk about it in great detail. The traumatic memory loses its emotional charge and can finally be integrated, giving you relief in the present.

To support the EMDR process, I also work with:

  • RDI (Resource Development and Installation) – to help strengthen internal resources and create safety

  • De-shocking protocol – for processing physical trauma

  • ITT (Integrative Trauma Therapy) – to support full emotional integration

These techniques help deepen the healing process and ensure the changes are lasting and embodied.

HYPNOTHERAPY

Much of your emotional and physical functioning is guided by the subconscious mind. Just as your body breathes, digests, and regulates without conscious effort, many learned behaviors and emotional responses also operate on autopilot.

Hypnotherapy uses a light, meditative state to access the subconscious directly. In this deeply relaxed yet aware state, you remain in full control — but can more easily connect with the inner patterns and emotional material that may not be reachable through talk therapy alone.

This approach can be especially helpful in working with anxiety, habits, somatic symptoms, and deeper emotional blocks.

INNER CHILD WORK

We all carry younger parts of ourselves within us — moments from childhood when we felt unsafe, unseen, or unsupported. These "inner child" parts often continue to influence how we feel and act in adult life, especially when triggered. You might notice yourself withdrawing, becoming reactive, losing your sense of joy, or struggling to feel safe in relationships.

In a warm and supportive space, we gently reconnect with these younger parts — to help these wounded parts to feel seen, heard, and healed.
By tending to the needs of your inner child, you can reclaim lost creativity, spontaneity, and emotional freedom. You begin to feel more whole, grounded, and alive.

 

REGRESSION THERAPY

Everything you've ever experienced - emotionally, physically, or spiritually - is stored in your subconscious.
With regression therapy, we gently revisit key moments from your past using guided techniques that allow hidden or unconscious material to come into awareness.

Often, we return to moments where a powerful decision or belief was formed — because these moments still shape how you experience your life today. Unconscious choices made long ago can subtly limit your ability to choose differently now.

Regression can also reconnect you with moments of inner strength or clarity that have been forgotten — allowing you to draw on those resources in the here and now.

This work helps release emotional blockages, shift outdated beliefs, and create more freedom in your present-day life.

 

PARTS WORK - VOICE DIALOGUE

“I put so much pressure on myself.”“I keep doing things I don’t actually want to do.”“I promised myself I wouldn’t call them again…”“I’m too much… too passive… too scared…” Sound familiar?

We all carry different inner parts — like the inner critic, the perfectionist, the controller, the avoider, or the inner child. Some of these parts push, some pull back. At times, they seem to be in direct conflict, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, confused, or out of control — as if something inside you has taken over.
Parts work (inspired by modalities like IFS/Internal Family Systems) helps you get to know these different voices or aspects of yourself — not to get rid of them, but to understand their roles and to bring balance.
By building a relationship with your inner system, you regain the steering wheel — and begin to respond from a place of wholeness, instead of inner conflict.

 

GRIEF & LOSS THERAPY

Loss is something every human being faces - and yet no two people experience it in the same way.

Whether you’ve lost a loved one, a relationship, a job, your health, a sense of identity, or a dream that didn't come to be (such as the wish for a child), the grief that follows can be life-altering.

Sometimes, grief moves through us naturally over time. But when a loss remains unresolved, it can show up in physical symptoms, emotional struggles, or challenges in daily functioning.

Together, we gently explore where you may feel stuck in the grieving process. We’ll look at which aspects of the grief need more space, compassion, or attention — and support you in moving through them at your own pace.

When grief is fully felt and integrated, something inside softens. You may still feel the loss — but it no longer defines your days. Hope returns, joy becomes possible again, and life begins to feel meaningful.

RET (Rational Emotive Therapy)

If you struggle with low self-esteem or fear of failure, you may be influenced by deep-rooted, irrational thoughts or beliefs — often without realizing it.
Rational Emotive Therapy (RET) helps identify these unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more realistic, compassionate, and empowering beliefs.

Because our thoughts shape our emotions — and emotions shape our behavior - changing the way you think naturally leads to more positive feelings and healthier actions. This process builds confidence, inner calm, and the freedom to respond more consciously in challenging situations.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

In NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), we work with the idea that it’s not the world itself that shapes your experience, but the internal map you've created based on your perceptions, memories, and beliefs.

Together, we’ll explore your unique "mental map" — how your brain has organized and interpreted your experiences, and how this influences the way you think, speak, and behave.
We’ll identify where your internal map may be limiting you, and gently shift the patterns that are no longer serving your growth — creating space for clarity, choice, and transformation.

 

BIO-ENERGETICS

Overthinking. Worrying. Getting stuck in your head.

Sometimes we become so mentally activated that we lose connection to the body - as if we’re walking heads, disconnected from the rest of ourselves.

Bio-energetics is a body-oriented therapy that helps you come back home to your physical self. It’s about feeling, not thinking. About grounding through the body - feet on the floor, breath flowing, awareness alive.

This approach uses movement, breath, sound, and presence to open up emotional flow and reconnect you with the wisdom of your body. From this embodied place, it becomes easier to access your emotions, hear your intuition, and make decisions that truly align with you.

COACHING TECHNIQUES

As a coach, I act as a catalyst to support you in realizing your personal and professional goals.
We work with three core questions:
Who are you? What are your strengths? What do you truly want?

Coaching is often focused on the present and the future — helping you gain clarity, direction, and the practical tools needed to move forward. Depending on your needs, I draw from a variety of coaching techniques to guide and empower you toward the results you’re looking for.

PSYCHEDELIC-ASSISTED THERAPY
A holistic and trauma-informed approach to deep healing, combining psychedelics with psychodynamic therapy. This work supports lasting change by addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, and disconnection at their roots. Each journey includes screening, preparation, a guided in-person session, and integration therapy — ensuring safety, clarity, and transformation.

RATES & PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Session Fee: €184,50 per session
Duration: Each session last approximately 90 minutes (this applies to regular psychotherapy, not psychedelic-assisted therapy).


Therapy sessions may be partially reimbursed by Dutch health insurers if you have an additional (aanvullende) insurance package.

For International Clients
If you are insured outside the Netherlands, sessions are usually self-funded. Some international insurers may reimburse psychotherapy if you submit an invoice. You can check this with your provider.


Payment
Payment is made via bank transfer. Invoices are provided for your records and insurance claims if applicable.

  • Free cancellation up to 72 hours before your appointment

  • 50% of the session fee will be charged for cancellations made within 72 hours

  • Full session fee will be charged for cancellations made within 48 hours
